Bushfood or Bush Tucker is the name given to the native foods found in Australia. It includes, fruit, vegetables, spices, and various types of plants.



The Aniseed or Ringwood is a rare tree in the Australian rainforest; it grows aromatic leaves that are cultivated to create aniseed myrtle. this is a spice used for flavouring, herbal tea, and is also distilled to make essential oil. Its scientific name is Syzygium Anisatum, and is also known as anise myrtle. The tree grows sweet scented flowers that individually look like stars, but group together to form in the shape of off-white globes. They produce dry papery fruit capsules.
