Darlinghurst

(otherwise known as Darlo) is a safe and trendy inner-city suburb. Although prostitutes still walk the streets, the area is now dominated by young professionals and students.



If you're someone who is after some peace and quiet, you've definitely picked the wrong area of Sydney to live in.

Housing mainly comprises of renovated art deco apartments; although on the city end of Oxford Street - some stylish, newer apartments are available to live in. There are a few Victorian Terrace Houses around as well.



The City of Sydney in conjunction with Gaffa will soon be offering subsidised apartments for more artists to live in the area. Seven lucky artists will move into this art deco space in March/April 2014.
